Valdosta City School Nutrition Program is celebrating School Lunch Hero Day on today. Our Super Heroes don't wear capes they wear aprons. There will be three Heroes retiring at the end of this school term. Ms. Minnie Carter, Ms. Sarah Lenoir, and Ms. Cynthia Smith. Ms Smith was a 2023 CATS Nominee. VCS Bus 20-83 was in a very minor traffic accident this afternoon. All students on board are accounted for and no injuries have been reported. Though the bus did not sustain any major damage, students are being transitioned to bus 15-28 should be en route to their homes very soon.

J. L. Newbern Middle School announces the 2023-24 Dance Team and Cheer Squad tryouts for upcoming 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
