UPDATE TO THE VALDOSTA GAME AGAINST CAMDEN COUNTY:
SEASON TICKETS WILL BE HONORED! Please bring your ticket as proof of your purchased season ticket(s) seat row and number. Be reminded, you need to keep up with this ticket as proof of purchase for the 2025 season ticket seat credit.
The Valdosta Wildcats will take on the Camden County Wildcats this Saturday, October 5 at 1:00 pm. After announcing this change, we’ve decided that attendance will be free for everyone. In light of the extensive damage our community has suffered from Hurricane Helene, we hope this afternoon of Wildcat football can offer a much-needed break—both mentally and physically—for those who attend.
We understand that season ticket holders may have questions, and we want to provide clarity here. Since the game is free for all, your Camden game ticket from the season ticket packet won’t be needed. This means that your usual seat may be occupied by someone else, but this event is open to the entire community. We kindly ask everyone to extend grace and understanding to their fellow fans as we come together in the spirit of unity.
Also, because of the storm, changes have been made to the remaining games left in the 2024 season. Please see the attached graphic showing the new dates for our region games. (Please note that the time of the Camden game is 1:00 pm) Season ticket holders will still use the tickets in their packets for the remaining home games, even if the date is incorrect. This will only impact the Colquitt County game, which will now be played in Valdosta on October 11.
Please hold on to your Camden tickets, as you’ll be able to use them as a credit towards your purchase for the 2025 season. When next season’s sales begin, simply bring the ticket to the Wildcat Ticket Office to receive credit for the corresponding number of seats you held this season.
We recognize that many in our community, including our Valdosta City Schools families, are still in the process of recovery. We hope that this football game will provide a sense of normalcy for our players, cheerleaders, band members, and fans. As we welcome everyone to the stadium when gates open at noon, we ask for your continued patience, grace, and kindness. While our players will be doing what they love, the weight of recent events will still be felt, as many are dealing with personal loss and uncertainty following the storm.
