VCS Bus 20-83 was in a very minor traffic accident this afternoon. All students on board are accounted for and no injuries have been reported. Though the bus did not sustain any major damage, students are being transitioned to bus 15-28 should be en route to their homes very soon.

Kelsey Mae Walker was recognized during Tuesday's Valdosta Board of Education meeting for being named the VCS Student Athlete of the Year.

VCS will host the ESOL Family Day on Saturday, March 11 from 10 am until 12 pm at Valdosta Middle School.
Valdosta City Schools will be closed for Winter Break on Monday, February 13. Staff returns for an in-service day on Tuesday, February 14, however students remain on break. Students return to school on Wednesday, February 15. Enjoy the long weekend!
Valdosta High School will host the GHSA 7A South Wrestling Sectionals on Saturday, February 11. Tickets are $12 each and are available through GoFan (https://bit.ly/3xpYJIV). There are no child, student, or senior citizen discounts. All spectators are asked to enter through the upstairs entrance, no spectators are allowed on the gymnasium floor.
