Valdosta High School

The Valdosta Fire Department provided a demonstration at Valdosta High School on the advancements in technology which helps with the time it takes to get water to a fire. Students carried buckets of water to put out a simulated fire, helping them realize how much quicker a fire truck is at putting out fires. This demonstration incorporated the history of fire departments along with technologies used now to assist with fire suppression.
