Valdosta High Fellowship of Christian Athletes is excited to announce the 2024-2025 FCA Student-Athlete of the Year is senior Maggie Matheny.
Maggie is a four year letter recipient for the Valdosta High Cross Country team. She served as Captain for three years, was named the Most Improved Runner of the Year once, and was twice named the Most Valuable Runner of the Year. Maggie is also an IB student at Valdosta High, and a member of FCA, Beta Club, Chick-Fil-A Leadership Academy, Baseball Batgirls, and the International Club. Given her numerous accomplishments and activities, she is best known by her classmates, teammates, and opponents for her faith, humility, and kindness. She is the daughter of Kelly and Mark Matheny.
