Please join Valdosta High School and the Valdosta High School Band in celebrating Mr. Andrew Hill on his selection as the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) District 8 Music Educator of the Year for 2024-2025!
Mr. Hill has been a dedicated member of the Valdosta High School music program since 2004, when he joined as the Assistant Director of Bands. He leads the VHS Jazz Ensemble, which recently showcased its talents at the Essentially Ellington Regional Jazz Festival in Nashville, TN, and the GMEA In-Service Conference in Athens, GA.
He was honored with this prestigious award at the GMEA In-Service Conference on January 30, 2025.
