CPIE Awards Winners

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students at Valdosta Early College Academy, we would like to say thank you to all our Community Partners in Education (CIPE) and to all community partners who are committed to serving education. We are so appreciative to our CPIEs for all they did for us, big or small; it did not go unnoticed.

Ford Bowen-Country Financial and Chick-fil-A North Valdosta were nominated and chosen as our Large Business of the Year winners for Valdosta Early College Academy during an awards reception held at LHS Performing Arts Center on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

Ford Bowen, Country Financial was chosen as CPIE Partner at Large of the Year. Mr. Bowen gave a monetary donation to VECA to help us do special things for our teachers throughout the year. He also spearheaded a school supply drive and donated a large number of supplies for our students. Mr. Bowen also helped establish Interact Club on our campus. Interact is an organization that helps develop leadership and service to others. Through his service and being a catalyst in helping our students become service minded, our students will be able to continue to cycle of service to our community for years to come. Thank you, Mr. Bowen, and Ford Bowen Country Financial for supporting VECA!

Chick-fil-A North Valdosta was chosen as Large Business of the Year. Ms. Brittney Alligood accepted on their behalf. Chick-fil-A has been a blessing to our faculty, staff, and students on many occasions.  Because of their benevolence, we were able to provide prizes, meals, and treats to our well-deserved faculty, staff, and students. Everyone at our school seems to love Chick-fil-A and we are always excited to receive anything from them! Thank you, Chick-fil-A North Valdosta, for your support!

Thank you, Community Partners in Education, for the investments you have made in the lives of our hard-working faculty, staff, and students. VECA appreciates you!
