Student Support Services held their monthly meeting with attendance from school nurses, school counselors, school social workers, case managers, the McKinney-Vento Liaison, and centralized registration staff. Kelly Jones and Cassie Avellaneda from the Emotional Wellness Center presented on their agency and shared strategies for supporting students with ADHD, including opportunities for staff training.

Following their presentation, Dr. Sneed, Assistant Superintendent of Support Services, discussed the school climate survey, emphasizing its importance. Additional discussions focused on mandated reporting, highlighting the need for timely incident reporting and adherence to proper documentation protocols, as well as medical documentation, reinforcing the importance of logging medical-related interactions and follow-ups.

Ms. Angela Stokes, the McKinney-Vento Liaison, introduced the new "Wildcat Wear Clothes Closet," which will provide essentials for anyone in need. The meeting also covered plans to recognize four eighth-grade students receiving REACH scholarships at the January board meeting. The session concluded with department breakout meetings.
