Sallas Mahone Elementary

Thank you to Georgia's State School Superintendent, Dr. Richard Woods, and other representatives for traveling to our school and presenting this honorary award. This award recognizes schools that go above and beyond to provide a supportive environment for military students and families. SME's military mentoring program was established in 2005 and was soon named the Scott Craven Program in 2006 following the death of one of the dedicated airmen who volunteered regularly with Sallas Mahone to ensure that our military children were taken care of during a parent's deployment. We love our military families!
