The Division of Student Support Services held its monthly meeting earlier this month, featuring insightful presentations from community partners.
Mrs. Sonia Robinson, Executive Director for CASA, and Ms. Julie Powell, Volunteer Coordinator, shared information about the volunteer process and requirements for their organization. They highlighted how CASA makes a significant impact on children in Lowndes and Echols counties.
Mrs. Rosalinda Neal, Education & Training Regional Manager for the South District at Goodwill, presented on the outstanding programs offered by Goodwill for students, families, and community members.

Following the presentations, individual departmental meetings were held for school counselors, school nurses, and school social workers across the district. Each department convened to discuss updates relevant to their work and to engage in professional development discussions.
