We are looking forward to celebrating district and state wide with our K-12 students on September 30, 2024 for Georgia Reads Day! Please see attached graphic for general information on the activities planned for the day which have been coordinated by Dr. Crawford, Director of Instructional Technology & Media. Times and activities may vary, depending on school and grade level. Please follow your principal's instructions for more specific times.
We are particularly looking forward to our very own Valdosta High School graduate, Coach Malcolm Mitchell, joining Governor Brian Kemp for a reading at 10:00am. This will be broadcasted live on the GPB channel for our students to attend in their school's Media Center.
