According to Lance de la Rosa, Sam's Club's Chief Operating Officer, Community means something really special at Sam’s Club. It’s not an accident that service is one of our core values. It’s baked into our DNA and comes to life through our local club support and associate engagement within each community where we operate. Our goal is to make each community better because of the contributions of our business and our associates.
On October 11, we put the power our associates behind first companywide Day of Service at Sam’s Club. While our more than 100,000 associates make a difference with our members and their communities every day, this special day of service allowed our teams to come together in our shared purpose and mobilize in a powerful way.
Here at J.L. Lomax our scholars were very appreciative to have all of the Sam's Club employees that came out to volunteer. They're already asking when are they coming back. Our CPIE are amazing.
