The VCS Art Teachers recently met for their annual Professional Learning Center session, entitled VCS Art in the Park! While we reflected on curriculum and shared our favorite lessons taught this calendar year, we also celebrated the amazing Ms. Gail Gregory of Pinevale Elementary, who will officially retire at the end of this year.
We want to show our love and appreciation for each of our VCS Art teachers, including Heather Dorsey of S.L. Mason Elementary, Gail Gregory of Pinevale Elementary, Sarah Lowe of W.G. Nunn Elementary, Anne Moody of Sallas Mahone Elementary, Donna Troy of J.L. Lomax Elementary, Angie Faber of Valdosta Middle, and Elisha Craig & Adam Calvin of Valdosta High School.
Another celebration included recognition of our participants in the recent "Spring Into Art" exhibition by the Turner Center for the Arts. Our very own Elisha Craig, Sarah Lowe, and Adam Calvin participated, and Adam Calvin of VHS received Honorable Mention!
This meeting is always filled with joy, as well as Vision, Value, and Victory—the true #3VWay!
