In December 2022, 16 students competed to take their place in the District Spelling Bee. The excitement the students exhibited propelled excitement in the staff. The participants as well as the bystanders did an outstanding job showing support to each other and their fellow competitors. At the conclusion of that great ceremony, three students went on in January to compete in the district spelling bee: Amaydrian Shivers (1st), Alberta Torres (2nd), and Anari Duncan (3rd).
In January, the school winners went on to compete in the District spelling bee, where they maintained confidence and poise in the face of a few difficult rounds. We are very proud of the students' efforts and commitment towards excellence !!!!
