Robert Jeffords, HLC teacher, recently completed his first-ever marathon! Jeffords completed the 26.2 miles LCSO Bataan Death March Tribute in 7 hours and 59 minutes.
Over a year ago, Jeffords committed to several lifestyle changes in an effort to live a healthier life. Since then he has lost over 145 pounds, become more physically active and trained for this marathon.
"It's been a great deal of hard work! But I sincerely want to thank everyone who has continued to cheer me along every step of the way," said Jeffords.
