Mrs. Roxanne Roberts, Engineering and Technology teacher at VMS, will be awarded a $10,000 grant from Project Lead the Way to enhance STEM education at Valdosta Middle School. PLTW, funded by Lockheed Martin, provides a diverse range of STEM curricula for middle schools. The grant will be used to implement a comprehensive program providing students with hands-on learning opportunities in coding and technology. Mrs. Roberts' initiative aims to inspire young learners and equip them with critical skills for future careers in technology.
