Students touring inside WoW bus

Earlier this week, members of the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council gathered at the Professional Learning Center. This group consists of students from Valdosta High School and Valdosta Early College Academy. During their visit, they toured the WoW Bus (Wildcats on Wheels) and shared valuable feedback on its strengths as well as areas needing improvement. In addition, they discussed their experiences with recent events in Valdosta City Schools and shared their thoughts on upcoming changes.

These meetings demonstrate a commitment to vision through proactive engagement and feedback from students, who are key stakeholders in shaping the future of Valdosta City Schools. The values of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement are reflected in the students’ thoughtful contributions. Their input ensures that the school district evolves in a way that meets the needs of the community. Finally, this process fosters victory by empowering students to take an active role in improving their educational experience and contributing to positive change, ensuring ongoing success for all.
