S.L. Mason Elementary School third, fourth and fifth grade CATalyst took a field trip to the Valdosta State University STEAM center on Friday, April 12. While there, Dr. Gerber and his staff taught the students all about the science of weather.
Students learned how tornadoes are formed, the effects of humidity on weather, the Coriolis effect and so much more. They even got to touch a cloud! S.L. Mason would like to thank the STEAM center for providing such an informative and interactive experience for our students.
