VCS STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM

Our Student Information System (SIS) is a web-based platform provided by Infinite Campus. It is a complete information management solution that supports student learning by ensuring that the school district streamlines the educational processes, promote stakeholder collaborations and personalized learning. Our SIS is tailored to the needs of the school district, regional consortia, local and state departments of education.

Our Student Information System is able to collect school-wide data online so that it can be easily accessed by administrators, teachers, parents, and students. This includes personal student information, grades, assessments, attendance, appraisal performances, and much more. 

The Student Information System allows schools to make data points for several areas in one place so that it's easy to keep track of the student's progress and performance, and is also a resource that offers a self-service solution for students to get their administrative tasks done in one place. Equally, it can support faculty and staff by helping to simplify and integrate work processes.

Campus Parent and Campus Student Portals

The Campus Student and Campus Parent portals put school information at your fingertips with real-time access to announcemensts, assignments, attendance, grades, schedules, and more!

Campus Parent Portal account - Parents who are new to VCS can create a parent portal account by clicking here: Campus Parent Portal or Campus Parent Portal-Spanish Version.

Students should contact or visit the school counselors for all student portal account issues.

Mobile App- The Campus Student and Campus Parent apps provide the same tools as the browser version, with the benefit of the option to Stay Logged In and receive push notifications. Mobile devices must be on an Android version of 5.0 or later and iOS devices must be on a version of 11.0 or later. Acceptable Use Policy

The Infinite Campus Parent Portal allows parents to view their own child’s schedules, grades, assignments, and attendance anywhere, anytime. For the security of your child’s information, Valdosta City Schools advises you to take the following precautions:

  1. Keep your log-in and password strictly confidential. Do not share your password with anyone, including your own children. 

  2. Refrain from using Infinite Campus Parent Portal for any illegal activity, including violation of data privacy laws.  

  3. Report any potential security problems immediately to Valdosta City Schools.

  4. Misuse of the Infinite Campus Parent Portal will result in revoked access

Student Record and Transcript Requests

Student records are physically maintained at the schools. If you are the parent of a student or the student, and wish to obtain records or transcripts, you will need to contact the school last attended. If it has been 10 or more years, you will need to contact our Central Office at (229) 333-8500
