Greetings Wildcat Nation,

It gives me great pleasure and pride to welcome you to the 2024-2025 academic year at Valdosta High School, the home of the Valdosta Wildcats! I am thrilled about the many opportunities our Wildcat scholars have at their fingertips here at VHS. From rigorous academic pathways such as Honors, AP (Advanced Placement), IB (International Baccalaureate), and dual enrollment (both on and off campus), to our top-notch CTAE program, nationally recognized athletics program, and a myriad of diverse extracurricular activities and student organizations—VHS offers everything our scholars need to prepare for a successful future.

Our dedicated and talented faculty and staff are ready to inspire and challenge the innovative and curious minds of our VHS scholars. It is my hope that each scholar recognizes their potential and greatness while taking full advantage of everything VHS has to offer. High school is the perfect opportunity to open your eyes and minds to infinite possibilities, whether that involves continuing education in college, serving our country in the military, or entering the workforce with specialized skills gained from VHS.

To our VHS scholars, I hope your time at Valdosta High provides you with motivation, inspiration, safety, and enjoyable memories that will last a lifetime. To our parents and families, thank you for entrusting your scholars to our care. It is our sincere hope that we continue to illuminate a flame that inspires generations to come. Lastly, to our community, we are wholeheartedly grateful for your partnerships and support of Valdosta High School. Without your generosity, time, and effort, we could not achieve the great things we do.

In closing, our theme this year is One School - One Team - Making A Difference! I hope we all, as a Wildcat Nation, continue to uplift and support our scholars to be their best. With a clear vision, genuine values, and a determined mind for victory, we will prepare our VHS scholars to enter the world after graduation ready to make an impact and difference.
