Valdosta City Schools will open online registration for the 2025-2026 school year on Monday, February 24, 2025. Families of new students, including those enrolling in PreK and Kindergarten, can begin the registration process by visiting https://www.gocats.org/o/vcs/page/vcsstudentregistration.

To assist families with the registration process, an in-person PreK registration event will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta, Inc. on Toombs Street. Registrants should have all required documents ready for uploading to complete the process.

✨ Kindergarten Registrants must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025.
✨ PreK Registrants must be 4 years old by September 1, 2025.

✅ Required Documents to Complete Enrollment:
-Certified/Official Birth Certificate
-Copy of Social Security Card or Waiver
-Immunization Record (GA Form 3231)
-Eye, Ear, Dental, and Nutrition Exam (GA Form 3300)
-Proof of Residency (Current Utility Bill)

📅 PreK Lottery Info: All PreK registrants will be notified after the lottery drawing on April 7, 2025. If chosen, your child will be automatically enrolled! Others will be placed on a waiting list based on the lottery order.

🏫 PreK and Kindergarten registration is for students living in the J. L. Lomax Elementary School, Pinevale Elementary School, Sallas Mahone Elementary School, S. L. Mason Elementary School, and W.G. Nunn Elementary School zones.
